Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology

Program Overview :

A Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology relates to the inspection, repair, modification, replacement, and overhaul of aircraft equipment to ensure that an aircraft is in optimal condition and most importantly, safe for flying. Students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to inspect aircraft components and systems, diagnose aircraft-related problems and rectify these issues accordingly. They will also gain an understanding of the legal requirements relating to the operation of commercial aircraft.

Entry Requirement

1. Pass in SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics and a pass in English; OR
2. Pass in STPM/STAM or its equivalent with a minimum of grade C (GP 2.00) in any subjects and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level; OR
3. Pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject with credits in Mathematics and a pass in English.
